GB eye’s Licensing Team is respected throughout the Industry for their professional and considerate attitude towards our properties.

Max Arguile - Licensing Manager
Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 252 1614
email: max@gbeye.com

Max has worked in licensing for over 10 years. His team work, his intuition towards market trends and his professional attitude towards licensors has been a key part of GB eye's success.

A father of 3 young ‘uns (all under 7) Max is kept busy at home. When he’s not exercising his parenting skills he’s particular to a glass of fine wine, and likes to expand (and decimate) his burgeoning cellar of vintages. A keen cyclist, Max also enjoys studying holes in the ground (truly!) and is a big fan of American TV shows. A vegetarian, Max’s favourite sandwich is cream cheese and olives.
Emily Fawcett – Licensing and Premiums Executive
Direct Dial: +44 (0114) 292 0086
email: emily@gbeye.com

Emily first joined GB in 2007, first temping and then as a permanent member of our UK Sales team. Her role developed to include assisting in the handling of the Asda account, as well as taking care of our Premiums business. She has now moved up in the world (well, she’s gone upstairs anyway!) and joined our Licensing Department. Still handling Premiums, but now also handling photographers, artists and generally assisting our Licensing Manager, and also actively engaging with many of our licensors.

Emily is a wonderfully bubbly, funny and lively lady, who also plays in an Oompah-pah band (Gugen-somefink) and loves film, socialising, having a jolly time, travelling, and writing witty asides on Facebook. Her favourite term is “LOL”, which goes some way to describing her character.
Neil Boote - Stock and Analysis Manager
Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 292 0472
email: neil@gbeye.com

Neil joined GB in August 2004 and is now GB’s Stock and Analysis Manager which involves him working with lots people across various departments which are just some of the reasons why he really enjoys his job. He looks after stock ordering for all stock products from Posters to Tattoos and also oversees the majority of the analysis that is done at GB. A major area for him is also developing the systems used at GB including Dynamics, the B2B site and also SharePoint that is currently being developed by him. Being very statistical in everyday life (somewhat football focused!) this also transfers nicely to the role he fulfils.

He enjoys all sports but mainly football and golf. He plays football for a Sunday League team called Fairbank Rhodes. If you cut him, he bleeds Luton FC (which can lead to interesting discussions with the MD, a Watford supporter!) Neil is newly married to the lovely Stacey, who he met when she worked here (it’s a beautiful love story!) and she even let him play golf on the morning of their wedding. What a lucky chap!
His favourite food is a good curry with a pint (or 3) to wash it down.

He likes reading and films. Favourite authors include Jake Arnott and favourite film is Goodfellas. He has a varied music taste ranging from The Beach Boys to the Wu Tang Clan.
They appear to be a spiritual lot in the analysis team, as his motto is ”you shouldn’t care what people think and do what makes you happy.”
David Wilkinson - Junior Business Analyst

email: davidwilkinson@gbeye.com

David joined us late in 2009 as Junior Business analyst aiding and abetting Neil Boote. His responsibilities include generating Sales and other general reports, looking after the B2B website and assisting with Stock control and ordering.

He’s a regular gourmand (loves food!), but his absolute favourites are Steak, Curry & the ubiquitous “naughty” kebab after a night out. A sportsman & fan, Football, Cricket and Table tennis (!) are his main sports but he will play anything (including the xylophone and marbles). He’s a big Huddersfield Town Fan, and like so many football fans is deluded and believes that they will win the league and also that they will crush Wednesday. For a new boy in town, surely that’s fighting talk!

He and his girlfriend are just about to buy a house together to move into with their 2 Labradors and cats.

A lover of Indie and Dance music, his favourite TV shows include Blackadder, Sharpe and CSI’s. He’s a big movie buff with something like 1000+ DVD’s. His favourites include Shawshank Redemption, Remember the Titans and Old Dogs (which he claims is the funniest film ever).

Fun loving he likes to enjoy everything he does. His motto “Work hard, play harder”!
Lee Montague - Senior Designer

email: lee@gbeye.com

Known throughout his life as Monty, he has been with GB since 2000, and is a big Scunthorpe United fan. Lee has been running the Design department since 2001. Monty has worked on such projects as Pokemon, Star Wars, Manchester United and many of the Disney projects from Toy Story to Power Rangers, etc.

It is a well known fact that what Monty doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing! Monty owns a juicer too. And now a house to go with it.
Tom Hewitt - Designer

email: tomhewitt@gbeye.com

Tom joined our Design team at the same exact time as Joe. He is a big extreme sports fan, and has been known to skateboard, snowboard and BMX in his 'yoof'. Now at the grand old age of 23, he has hung up his Vans and retired from the sports circuit, instead preferring to watch it on TV.
Tom is involved in working on Disney, WWE, The Simpsons, and Transformers to name a few.
Tom likes Nando's chicken, wearing fluffy slippers and looking at boobies (all day if he could get away with it). He owns 16 guinea pigs, and loves them all very much. (Some of these "facts" may be false.) Tom is also considering a journey to the foot of the property ladder sometime within the next 12 months.
Drew Mander - Designer
Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 292 0096
email: drew@gbeye.com

Drew joined GB's warm & fuzzy design team in the autumn of 2007. He stole in quietly, almost under the radar, but has been gradually revealing himself as a man with a dry & witty humour. However, there have to be some drawbacks to this, namely he supports Derby County and he talks to himself. Drew likes hugs and two favourite phrases of his are "Hi-5" and "don't leave me hanging". Drew's fave food is Chinese. Mmmmm!
Cally Wright - Print Room Operative
Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 252 1625
email: cally@gbeye.com

Cally works within the Design Department printing photographic orders for all customers including Print on Demand. Along with printing design proofs, creating pictorials and anything else that gets sent her way!]

She takes care of the maintenance of the mini-lab including ordering stock and making sure those crazy fumed products are disposed of safely under responsible waste management.

Partial to her Mum’s Stew or Sunday Lunch, she walks it all off again taking her gorgeous Labradors out for a run/walk/swim/ball catching exercise. Star is chocolate, Inca & Freya are yellow. Inca & Freya have the same Dad & Star is Freya’s Mum!
When not working, Cally (who is a bit of a rock chick) is a regular visitor to Sheffield Steelers ice hockey team (season ticket holder) and likes to get away on trips as often as possible! Naturally she is a keen photographer!
Michelle Collins – Designer
Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 292 0082
email: michelle@gbeye.com
No, it’s not Cindy from Eastenders resurrected in a new role as our newest designer, it’s the lovely Michelle who joined our Design Team in March 2010. She’s already worked on Disney, Monroe, Coca Cola and Glee to name some of the impressive licenses she’s helped create some great artwork for.
Her mission: To design posters, prints, flyers...
Her favourite foods to nibble on or quaff include - Olives, cheese and red wine. She would throw eggs and nuts back at you – so don’t go offering her a Brazil nut omelette (you freak!)
A single lady, she loves to catch up on the latest movies as a cinema regular and she also has a passion for a bit of dancing around; footloose and fancy-free springs to mind, as Michelle’s a girl who doesn’t want tying down with any commitments like a dog or a cat or a tortoise. She’ll dance to anything with a bass line, loves TV from Larry David’s acerbic “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, “Big Brother”, to the camp comedy of Louie Spence from “Pineapple Dance Studio”. Her favourite movie is Hot Rod. Essentially Michelle is a girl who just wants to have fun
