Joanne Copley-Dunn
Commercial Director

Direct Dial: +44 (0114) 252 1603
email: joanne@gbeye.com

Joanne (Taurus) is the Queen of UK Sales. She was there at the very beginning in 1986, helping to found the company. What Joanne doesn't know about posters and the poster industry, seriously isn't worth knowing. Joanne is the Commercial Director for GB, and has worked in every area of GB through the years. She is hands-on with Woolworths and Asda - and gets involved with all areas of the UK account management. As a director she is constantly strategising - and even keeps a notepad next to her bed, when inspiration wakes her in the night. In her time, Joanne has pursued hockey, water skiing and even guitar playing. Now her two young sons keep her on her toes!
Sorrel Dryden
Key Accounts & Marketing Manager

Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 252 1623
email: sorrel@gbeye.com

Sorrel (Leo)is a bit of a posh pony girl. She likes jodhpurs and riding boots (but only on a weekend). She day-dreams of riding horses, and playing with her puppy-dog. Sorrel has been with GB since 1993, originally as a Sales Agent, then came in from the cold in 1998 to set up GB's marketing department. She has since become our warm and friendly Key Accounts Manager. At one time she was looking after all our major accounts; she now focuses her attentions on HMV, Borders Books, Tesco, Smyth's Toys and Clinton Cards. When she's got a spare moment Sorrel also handles the marketing for the company - orchestrating our trade press entries, and overseeing trade fair organisation. She's getting on a bit now, and grew up in the age of the New Romantic, but then became a dance-kid, and could regularly be seen on podiums in the capital. Sorrel loves Japanese food and drinking tea.
Nicola Hallam
New Product Development Manager
email: nicola@gbeye.com
Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 292 0095

Nicola (Sagittarius) started at GB as our fabulous UK Sales Office manager in 2004.
Showing how talented she was at controlling and steering the tight ship that is UK Sales, she has since moved across to new product development, devoting all her time to this.

There are still never quite enough hours in the day for Nic, as she organises any new product from development to the moment it goes out to stores, including value canvas, badges and badge packs, frames, canvas and prints.

Nicola is a child of the eighties, and likes nothing more than dancing round her living room to "Like a Virgin". She loves a good curry & a pint on a Friday night.
Neil Boote
UK Workload Co-ordinator/On-line store & Product Executive

Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 292 0472
email: neil@gbeye.com

Neil, joined GB in August 2004, originally as one of our resident number-crunchers fresh from university. He wears many hats at GB, including royalty reporting and sales analysis, as well as looking after our on-line store product and sales, but most importantly as the UK workload co-ordinator - meaning he liaises between the various chain account managers and the UK and warehouse teams, ensuring goods and products reach stores in as swift a time as possible.

Neil's a Luton Town FC supporter (so he and Charlie, a Watford die-hard, have many interesting conversations) and he plays football in both Saturday and Sunday Leagues. Neil is an avid computer games player and is a fan of Pro-Evo Soccer. His favourite tipple is Warsteiner. Neil now owns a house with his missus who used to work at GB!
Ulanda Leslie
Customer Liaison Co-ordinator

Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 252 1628
email: ulanda@gbeye.com

Ulanda has been with GB since 1997 and is an Aries. She's seen it all through the years, and has a comprehensive knowledge of all administrative elements of the UK Sales dept. Ulanda is administrative handler for Merlin Entertainment/Tussauds, Woolworths and Clinton Cards. She also issues all barcode information to chains and sets up new promotional FSDUs on the GB central system and organises new product information to our external sales team.

Ulanda likes chocolate very much, has kick-boxing brothers, is a bit of a soul girl and doesn't like the cold weather!
Daniel Perry
UK Sales Co-ordinator

email: daniel@gbeye.com

Dan likes to think he is a legend. In his own words "loved by women and adored by men. He wakes up every morning and p*sses excellence" (as you can tell, Dan is slightly deluded.)

Dan Perry started at GB in June 2003 - in that time he has seen a personal development that has accelerated at a rate of knots. Beginning in basic admin he is now administrative handler for HMV and hmv.com, Borders Books, Play.com and Amazon. An Aries, Dan loves and would seriously love a date with Megan Fox the "bird from Transformers". He likes 4 members of Girls Aloud... He also "heart's" Sheffield United. His favourite food is pizza (especially a Meat Feast) and he makes a mean omelette. His favourite cold frothy beverage is Tiger beer. He is a tea obsessive.

Dan is planning to save lots of money and get on the property ladder within the next year or so, so if anyone wants a battered Clio, calls to Dan, please!
Janice Simpson
Reception & On-line Store Customer Relations

Janice joined our team in Christmas 2004 after a long spell working in retail management. She's been there, done it and literally got the tee-shirt.
Janice manages our reception area - and all that entails - brilliantly, with great humour and charm. She takes care of all customer enquiries for our On-line store, and deals with every one of our visitors in a very friendly yet professional manner.
Janice ADORES George Michael (yes, she knows!), and is also a massive Northern Soul girl. She's been to all the famous venues - Blackpool Mecca, Golden Torch, Twisted Wheel, Wigan Casino - with her favourite red vanity case (ready for those outfit changes), and was powdering the floor with her talc at the tender age of 17. She loves dancing, and now loves white wine as opposed to rose (which was her favourite). She likes a bit of Eastenders and Coronation Street, The Restaurant and any good documentaries. But what Janice loves more than life (apart from her husband) is HANDBAGS. She loves nothing more than adding a new Radley, Prada, Chanel, D&G or LV to her collection.

Her favourite Motown tracks are both by Stevie Wonder - 'Uptight' and 'Nothing's Too Good for My Baby'. She has too many favourite Northern Soul tracks to mention!
Joanne Koc
UK Sales Team Leader

Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 252 1604
email: joannek@gbeye.com

Joanne is currently on maternity leave, enjoying the company of her new daughter, Maddison. She will return in November 2008.

Jo is a Leo and has been with us since 2003. She started as our receptionist - but her talent was soon spotted and UK Sales stole her "upstairs". A lively, bubbly personality saw Jo first become the new business development member of our team - following all new leads and building business with them, and then in 2007 becoming the UK Sales Team Leader.
Running the office in Steve's absence, co-ordinating the external field sales agents, liaising with the distribution centre and despatch team, as well as the couriers, are just some of the roles covered by Jo.

Jo is also our first contact for TV and film production teams looking for set dressing, as well as taking care of any charity requests. She loves Italian food, boogieing on the dance floor, Jamiroquai and has a tortoise called Trevor.
Paul Grundy
Key Accounts Executive

Direct Dial: +44 (0)114 292 0098
email: paulg@gbeye.com

Paul Grundy joined us in 2006 as our Key Accounts Executive. Brought in to develop our multiples and chain business he prospects for new accounts and is as tenacious as a dog with a bone! He's taking care - as account manager - of Merlin Entertainment Group, Forbidden Planet, all the Football Clubs that we work with (meaning he can legitimately talk football for hours as part of his job), JJB, Center Parcs, Gamestation, and Toys R Us. He shares his birthday with Jo K - so is another Leo in our fiery sales team (by zodiac sign, not temperaments!).

Paul used to be a bit of a party boy, but reaching the ripe old age of 27 he's happy to take things a bit easier these days with his XBox360, his missus, and a cold tinny in his hand (not necessarily in that order).
Emily Fawcett
Direct Dial: +44 (0114) 252 0086
email: emily@gbeye.com
Emily joined us in the autumn of 2007. Coming from a film and TV background (runner & 3rd assistant director on Emmerdale, no less!) Emily came to us as a temp in our export department, during 'quiet time' on the production front, and she fit in so well with the GB ethic (a little bit lunatic, a little hard working) that we asked her to join the UK team. She plays trumpet in the Frumptarn Guggen Band which plays European Festival Music (she also plays trombone & saxophone).

Emily likes to talk in a West country accent sometimes, and the rest of the time is Account Handler for Asda, Tesco, Toys R Us, as well as being handler for our merchandiser services, and looking after the sales figures. She's also a star in the Premium Dept (oo-er!) and can make your dreams come true.
Victoria Wood
Independent Sales Co-ordinator

Direct Dial: +44 (0114) 252 1622
email: victoriawood@gbeye.com

Victoria Wood – oh the fun we’ve had with the Northern comedienne – yes, she’s retired from Acorn Antiques and now works in UK Sales! No, seriously, our Victoria is the latest addition to the team.

She’s a Sheffield lass, who was travelling in Hong Kong at the tender age of 18 (best time of her life to date – well, until she joined GB), and she is an enthusiast of the exclamation mark!!! A Sheffield Wednesday fan, she’s been brought in to look after and grow our Independent customer base, as well as write a newsletter or two.

She’s fond of the pub, and was “this close” at the recent Girls Aloud concert in Sheffield to “the Tweedy”. Victoria has slotted in very well to the UK team already, and is quite popular with some of our warehouse boys too.

Victoria has personalised 'OWL' plates on her automobile, and is a Facebook addict (in her spare time.)
Alex Mc Veighty
UK Sales Administrative Assistant
Direct Dial: +44 (0114) 252 1624
email: alex@gbeye.com

Alex is our latest signing, providing support to the team (like a good bra) and also dealing with agents and store visit statistics...which means she gets to make a pretty spreadsheet with lots of bright colours. Aged 24 and an original 'Yorkie' (although unrelated to the Grand Old Duke), she's a bit of a gin-soak and has an unhealthy obsession with badgers. She claims her favourite animal from Africa is the honey badger "as it's like a British badger but totally bad-ass and will take on an elephant if provoked!!" She likes to party but is apparently a very annoying drunk (must be all that gin, she probably weeps a lot) so tries to keep it under control.

She can't live at home rent-free as her parents ran away to France, and whilst in a relationship, she chooses not to live with the boyf, but with some of her friends. They like to mock her for her rice and tuna 'meal' (it's the only thing she can cook, but it kept her alive whilst she was at Uni and is a 'taste sensation'!) However, she'd really prefer to eat Chinese dumplings (dim sum!) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In fact, she could eat them until they came out of her nose.
Don't cross her on the stairs, push her under a ladder, throw a black cat in her path or make single magpies fly at her, as she's a highly superstitious soul.

Her all-time favourite songs are 'Let's get It On' by Marvin Gaye, 'Isn't She Lovely' by Stevie Wonder and 'California' by Joni Mitchell. Her favourite colour is green. She loves horror films, mainly zombie ones ("Mmmmmmmm, braaaaainnnnns"). Her pet peeve is biscuit-related comments referring to her name, so watch it! She also has a lot of ink that God didn't intend for her to have, and apparently a few retired piercings as well. Why not ask her about them if you're stuck for something to say?!
